Repair Café is an organization that provides event support for repairing everyday objects to reduce waste, overconsumption, and planned obsolescence.

rePurpose has organized Repair Cafes in Langley and Coupeville, and aims to provide more events on a periodic basis. The ingredients of a successful repair cafe are fixers, people who volunteer their time and expertise to fix items, ample tools, cleaning supplies, and educational materials, community members  bringing their items to fix, and refreshments. The rest is magic. We like to ring a bell and cheer every time an item has been repaired!
